The SO41 Way


Welcome to the 2nd coming of the SO41 blog, we will be dropping a new episode every Thursday so that you guys that are signed up are the first know what is going on at SO41 HQ, getting access to offers and some special competitions.

So we are working hard to come out of lockdown 3.0 to be able to get our offers out to and hopefully be able to see your faces  soon !!

Signature 

We have launched our online MarketPlace as a platform to get our range of freshly made, locally sourced and the frozen for convince ready meals available for delivery directly to your door alongside so fantastic products from our sister company Doe & Sons Bakehouse.

We are constantly reviewing the governments roadmap to see when we are able to start holding our Signature supper clubs again, we can’t wait to start having you guys back into the unit socialising and enjoying our food as soon as possible. 

StrEat 

We are still running our StrEat food takeaways on Friday and Saturday evening. We delivery to all SO41 and BH25 postcodes with free delivery over £15.

We are working hard on getting out to some events over the next few months with our food truck and we are back to New Milton Rugby Club from the 4th of April.

Matts Recipe of the Week

We are going to bring you a recipe each week from the SO41 cookbook, this week we are target you sweet tooth with this melt in the mouth shortbread recipe 

So for this recipe you will need a mixer and the following ingredients 

Butter x 125g

Caster Sugar x 55g

Plain Flour x 180g

You will need to take your butter out about 2 hours before you start to allow it to soften, this will make it a lot easier 

Mix the soften butter and sugar together until the sugar has dissolved and the mixture is smooth, add the flour and beat in until the mixture becomes smooth 

Roll over mixture flat and cut either into to finger or with a cutter and place on a greased and lightly sugared baking tray, chill the shortbread down for 20 minutes

Pre heat your oven to 190 and bake for 15-20 minutes, you want the shortbread to melt in your mouth !!
